I mean no one in either division is under .500 and with the way the cowboys are looking you could give an argument as the NFC South being the best division

no way i think the nfc east is the best in the nfl nothing even close
Do the NFC South have 11 superbowls cause the NFC East does.
Giants are the best team.
Skins and Panthers are about the same.
Cowboys are better than the Bucs even without Romo.
New Orleans is just bad and the Eagles are better than the Falcons.
NFC EastNFL
Actually, the NFC South has been great this season.
The Panthers have played great football. Say what you want about the Giants’ defense. As it stands now, the Panthers’ defense has given up 2 fewer points this year than the Giants. The Panthers have played much better offensive teams than the Giants have thus far, so you have to give their defense some credit.
The Bucs also have a great defense and have been productive offensively. Now that there are not problems at the QB issues, I expect the Bucs to finish strong.
The Falcons have been exceptional considering they have a rookie QB. They haven’t been the most spectacular team offensively, but they are solid on both sides of the ball. And, again, to be where they are with a rookie QB while in the middle of rebuilding the team is phenomenal.
The Saints, when firing on all cylinders, may be the best in the league. They have been inconsistent at times, but when they are on the ball, they are unstoppable. Their defense hasn’t been great, though, which may be their major flaw this season.
Overall, though, I think you have to give this division credit. No teams are below .500 and all four of them are playing better than the Cowboys recently. Sure, you can blame it on Romo, but Romo doesn’t drop passes or miss tackles.
Is this a serious question?
No, the NFC South is not as good as the NFC East. The South is 16 – 7 outside of the division. Of those 7 losses, 3 came against the NFC East opponents. The NFC South is 0-3 against the NFC East, and the Bucs even got to play the beat up Cowboys, and they still lost to them. Yet you say with the way the Cowboys are looking, the NFC South may be the best division? The Cowboys BEAT the Bucs 2 weeks ago, and this was after they got bit by the injury bug.
The NFC East is 18-6 out of the division. The strong play of the Falcons has made the South a better division, but they’re a far cry from being comprabable to the NFC East – combining the two divisions will result in 4 of the top 5 teams being from the East.
If the NFC South could win some games against NFC East opponents, your argument could have some merit, but their records against one another make the case short and sweet. East is better by far.
Bucs fan here. I think we have the strongest division personally. And to the guy who said the Panthers and Skins are about the same: dead wrong. The Panthers would blow the Redskins out of the water any week. The Redskins are weak, just like the Cowboys. Also, you say the Cowboys are better than the Bucs even without Romo? Yeah, that’s evident. 6-3 vs 5-4. Sure, the Cowboys did beat the Bucs two weeks ago, but I guarantee the Bucs would beat them if they played again. I honestly think the Panthers would cream the Gaints. I think the Bucs would cream the Redskins. I know the Saints would explode on the Eagles and the Falcons would make the Cowboys look like Cowgirls. The NFC South is heating up. Wait for it. To test my Panthers vs Giants statement, we’ll just have to wait until week 16 when they play each other.
