Do you think the resurgent Florida Panthers will make the playoffs?
Going into today’s game @ Carolina, they were just 5 pts behind the 8th final spot..

They just lost, so that is a huge setback. Not only did they lose, they let a playoff bubble team take two huge points.
They sitll have an outside shot though. Surprisingly enough.
they are done-with losing tonight and too many teams to leapfrog. If they were a few points out and needed to catch one team then OK but they are in like 13th place and need to climb over 5 teams -not all 5 will get cold especially with alot of them playing each other-someone has to win and often they both do with 3 point games.
They’re only hope is to win the competition against the defending champs. It’s definitely a possibility, but the chances are very slim that they’ll get ahead of the Hurricanes. Hurricanes have just enough points and weapons to not let Florida pass them.
Not after they lost to the Hurricanes tonight.
That degree of resurgence is not in the cards. They’ll have to simply take solace in a ’strong’ finish and hit the links.
