   Oh yeah thats why he was late, he ran into a wild panther. I have heard some good ones in my time, but that takes the cake.

   There may actually be wild panthers but I doubt he ran into one because they are nocturnal and very reclusive. Much more likely it was some other wild Kitty

   We still do have a few, although the numbers aren’t what they used to be. There are alot bobcats, however, which may be what he ran into.

   Yes I got attacked by a wild Panther while walking along a trail in Boone, NC it was scary.
